The high school teaching building of Huadu Shiquan Middle School, located in the Chengbei Business District of Liannan Yao Autonomous County, Qingyuan City, and built with investment support from Huadu District, was successfully capped recently. The junior high school teaching building is also scheduled to be capped on September 25. The whole project will be completed in June, and officially put into use in September, 2026.

As the core part of Liannan's landmark support project under "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand" project, Liannan Chengbei Business District supporting project is mainly composed of two important segments: Huadu Shiquan Middle School and Huadu Avenue Construction Project. In particular, Liannan Huadu Shiquan Middle School is an important school place facility in the Chengbei Business District of the city. Although it has been a key project in Guangdong Province, the Liannan County Party Committee and County Government found it difficult to set it in motion at the beginning of the project in 2020, due to imperfect planning and design in the early stage and lack of funds. After adjustment of the Guangzhou-Qingyuan initiative of assistance through pairing in 2023, Huadu District dispatched a Guangzhou-Qingyuan Command Task Force to station in Liannan. By adjusting the assistance ideas and strategies in a timely manner in accordance with the guidance of the Huadu District Party Committee and the District Government that assistance work should "meet Liannan's needs with Huadu's capabilities", the Task Force took the initiative to participate in the whole process of project approval and construction, and officially launched the construction of supporting projects in Liannan Chengbei Business District at the end of 2023.

It is worth mentioning that Huadu Shiquan Middle School project is undertaken by the China Third Construction Bureau, a participant of the initiative of "Construction Central Enterprises Help 'Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project'". The project covers an area of 17.5 acres, with a total construction area of about 65,009.65 square meters and a total planned investment of 327.06 million yuan. The completion of the project will add 3,000 high-quality middle school places, which will completely alleviate the shortage of school places in Liannan, making it possible for children of Yao ethnic group to enjoy local high-quality education. The Huadu Avenue project has also accelerated at the same time. "This is not only a road for students to go to school, but also a major artery for the development of Liannan." The technically responsible person of Huadu Avenue construction project said, "After its completion, Huadu Avenue can not only facilitate the travel of teachers, students and residents, but also drive the development of commercial complexes and Yao cultural tourism projects along the road. It will truly open up the blockages in the flow of resources, and provide a solid transportation foundation for the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand" project in Liannan, so as to achieve the dual benefits of improving people's livelihood and activating the economy. ” Now, the project has entered the phase of installing traffic signs and applying traffic markings.

At the 2025 exhibition of key achievements of Liannan Yao Autonomous County in implementing the Provincial Party Committee's requirements on promoting the initial results of the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand" project, the leader of the Task Force gave a speech on best practices as a representative of all the assisting forces in Liannan, "We will not only build Huadu Shiquan Middle School and Huadu Avenue, but will also use the project as a lever for promotion of the high-quality development of Liannan education, improvement of the traffic of the county-level park, and creation of a good business environment and investment atmosphere, so that we can promote the improvement of Liannan's industry quality and urban-rural integration while improving the attractiveness of the city." In June this year, the project was selected as a benchmark to host the on-site visit and exchange meeting of the "Safety Production Month" in the field of housing and construction in Qingyuan City. Benefiting from the active coordination of the Task Force, China Third Construction Bureau has adopted a number of advanced technologies at home and abroad, including tower crane intelligent centralized control system and AI intelligent monitoring, whose standardized construction process and refined safety control mode have been widely recognized by the industry.

From 2023 to 2025, the Huadu District Party Committee and the District Government have continued to arrange a total of 100.14 million yuan special funds to support the construction of supporting projects in Liannan Chengbei Business District. Among them, 90.14 million yuan was given to the Huadu Shiquan Middle School project, and the other 10 million yuan was assigned to the Huadu Avenue project, which is a supporting facility of road network around the school. The payment of the funds under assistance through pairing program for Huadu Shiquan Middle School project in 2023 and 2024 have already been completed, and the project leads in term of payment rate among projects of the Guangzhou-Qingyuan assistance through pairing program in the same period. Meanwhile, the Task Force actively coordinated with other supporting forces to support the construction of the project; in particular, Fogang's Liannan Assistance Task Force arranged 10 million yuan to support the construction of the comprehensive building of Huadu Shiquan Middle School.

In the next stage, by continuing to work under the guidance of "meeting Liannan's needs with Huadu's capabilities", and following the principle of "adaptive and persistent", Huadu District will strictly control the quality and safety of the project, promote its early completion, early commissioning, and early results, strive to build a "precise, professional, efficient and long-term" model of Huadu assistance, hold up new hopes for the development of Liannan, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of ethnic minority areas.
